These are from my bedroom...this red orange vanity is a piece that I had when I was a little girl. I used to sit at it and fix my hair and put on my Barbie make-up. It has been in the attic at my granparent's. Shane and I re-painted it and now it is perfect for me.
This is what it looked like before!
Some suitcases from a flea market that the lady gave me for $3! Why do people want to get rid of this stuff?
These pics are from the kitchen. This has been everyone's favorite room so far. It is jam packed with old stuff and I have had this wall collage in my head for months now. It came out perfectly.
This table and chairs cost me $168. It was hideos when we bought it. We re-painted and re-covered the chairs. I love the way it came out. It has three more chairs but there is no room for those in the kitchen. Ya'll know I need room to move around and cook. (Yeah right!)
I almost died when I found these sugar, coffee, and tea canisters. They remind me of the way some of my mom's stuff looked in the 80's.
This is the living room. It is completely empty. I have the whole room cooked up in my brain though. I am waiting to find the perfect mustard colored couch. I do love the way the accent wall came out.
The Bathroom:
When I spotted this mirror at the flea market I had no clue what I was going to do with it but my mom talked me into getting it because it was only $10 so I bought it and I am so glad that I did it goes perfectly in the bathroom!
The studio: I am not really satisfied with this room yet but I will tinker with it until I am!The pink dresser is another piece that we re-did. Please excuse the unfinished things hanging on the wall. Like i said, there has been no creating time lately! This is one of my favorite spots in the apartment.
Sorry this post is so long and has so many pictures. I have been running into lots of people who wanted to see pictures and I didn't want to let them down.
In other news: there are two more days until my boo moves back home. WOW! Can you say pump the party. I am so thrilled. I am treating him to dinner and we are spending some quality time together on friday. I even bought a new dress for the event. I'm telling you I have been waiting so long for this day to come. On Saturday I am teaching a class at Scrapalicious and hopefully going to the flea markets in the morning. Lu Lu is spending the night Saturday and there is much needed church on Sunday. I am so looking forward to the weekend as always. Well, how have things been going with you guys? I hope good. I will be back in a little while to post 10 things I love Wednesday. I have to go searching first. I know two posts in one day....I just really owe you!
